Miami Music Week will be returning for its seventh year on March 21-26, 2017 to one of the most notable cities for dance music.
The week-long electronic dance party takes place across numerous hot spots in Miami including Wynwood, Little Haiti, South Beach and Downtown Miami. With a record of over 1,000 artists and nearly 250 events in its previous years, Miami Music Week is undeniably a huge deal among the electronic music scene. This year’s festivities are predicted to be bigger and better, accommodating close to 1370 artists, 260 events and 75 venues. Events are usually arranged in various venues like nightclubs, pools and boats that vary from an age range of 18+ and 21+.
With Miami Music Week right around the corner, many events and highly anticipated performances have already been announced. During the week, Above and Beyond will be making an appearance at RC Cola Plant alongside Eric Prydz, followed by other performances throughout the week from Brodinski and Friends, Nicky Romero, Pete Tong, Marshmello and more.
The fun refuses to cease after a few days. Traditionally, the parties all lead up to the world’s most renowned electronic dance music festival, Ultra Music Festival, which is scheduled on the last three days of Miami Music Week. Along with the festival, many well-known record labels like Anjunadeep, Anjunabeats and Spinnin’ Records and more will be hosting events and shows that diverge from all types of dance music sub genres, including deep house, progressive house, trance and techno.
Miami Music Week has steadily attracted thousands of people from around the globe to gather as one massive dance music family simply for this experience. Ticket prices differ depending on the specific event – bigger events can range from $60 to $200, while smaller events are as inexpensive as $20.
